For the holiday season we’re teaming up with the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, an organization that’s been around for over 70 years and at the forefront of cerebral palsy research, to present AbleToPlay’s Top 5 Accessible Games of 2025!

Kirby Air Riders

Kirby Air Riders is a racing game for the Nintendo Switch 2 featuring a fully built-in accessibility menu!

Mobility-friendly options include: adjustable game speed, controller remapping, camera movement settings (including shake and tilt adjustments), and even a focal line to help guide Kirby’s steering! It’s also packed with features like text resizing, colorblindness support, in-game outlines, and more. Even better, Kirby Air Riders can be played with friends and family over the holidays.

Donkey Kong Bananza

Donkey Kong Bananza for the Nintendo Switch 2 is an adventure game that offers helpful accessibility options, including an Assist Mode, which provides a trail of notes to guide the player to story points. Its menu includes mobility features like controller remapping, camera adjustments, and motion controls, which can be disabled entirely or fine-tuned to your needs!

Additional features include subtitles, a treasure radar, adjustable haptics, and the option to restore any level to its default state (ideal if you’ve smashed too many things… though, smashing is undeniably fun!) You can even play with a friend, and what’s better than causing a bit of mayhem together?

Dimensional Double Shift

Dimensional Double Shift by Owlchemy Labs is a free gas ‘n grill VR game loaded with top-tier accessibility options!

The game includes a built-in locomotion assistance, ideal for players who play seated or lying down, ensuring your movement is supported regardless of your posture. You’ll also find a high-contrast mode, predictable interactions, and individual audio sliders for different sound effects. Plus, the game supports multiplayer — just be prepared for the inevitable ketchup explosions!

Squeakross: Home Squeak Home

Squeakross: Home Squeak Home is a squeakin’ accessible indie game by Alblune! The puzzle gameplay allows you to go entirely at your own pace and features single-button inputs, fully remappable controls across a keyboard, controller, and even a mouse — perfect for a game starring a small rodent! There are no in-game penalties, night mode, a hint system, and much more.

Best of all, you can decorate your home and customize your character, which includes options for prosthetic limbs or no limbs at all! It’s brilliant representation!

Bring color to the world in Spray Paint Simulator, an indie first-person painter! This colorful title includes remappable controls, on-screen prompts, camera djustments, and customizable haptics. It features no time penalties and lets you abandon a painting job at any time without consequences.

You can even adjust the color of highlighted paint areas, how long they remain highlighted, and even tweak the field-of-view to support visual clarity.
